Graduate student and Teaching Fellow Amanda Koenigsberg and writer/ creator Savannah Lee Simmons explore mental health, chronic illness, and stigma. Through academic research and personal experience, they explore the presence of such topics in modern literature. Solutions are offered to combat marginalization systemic in othering experiences. Key texts are highlighted as Amanda and Savannah present a deeply inviting and thought-provoking roadmap to societal integration; mental health is something to be understood and embraced with kindness and open curiosity.
